Carla Cain was in her home area on May 8 for a Northwest Philadelphia Candidates Night that featured candidates for all the offices that will be on the May 21 primary ballot. The three community organizations, West Mt. Airy Neighbors, East Mt. Airy Neighbors, and Chestnut Hill Community Association worked together to host the event at the New Covenant Church in West Mt. Airy. Nine of the 13 City Commissioner candidates were present. Carla continued her campaign points about increasing voter registration and turnout, going into all the wards of the city, the schools, community centers, churches and synagogues, wherever the people are, to engage and educate voters.
